什么是
可变字体
可变字体技术允许单个字体文件同时支持多个字体形态，它可以将几个字体紧凑地封装在单个字体文件中，通过定义字体内的变化来实现单轴或者多轴设计空间。

可变字体包含单轴或者多轴设计空间，通过调整可用轴来控制文本精确的字重、字宽、字高、中宫等，实现字形平滑连续的细微调整。设计师能够轻易获取满足不同版式设计需求的定制字形。

以一套包含6款字重的家族字体为例，6个字体文件大小接近50MB。然而，而支持字重轴变化的可变字体文件大小仅为20MB左右。在更小的空间实现更大的变化。
操作简单

以设计师常用的软件Illustrator操作界面为例，用户只需在字符面板中点击变量字体按钮，即可看到该款可变字体拥有的可变轴，通过调整滑块获取满足需求的字体样式。
